​The Mere Kats
Quiltfest 2022
The Mere Kats are a group of quilting friends who get together at the NEC each year for the Festival of Quilts.
In 2009, following their first visit to that year's show they got together and talked about what they'd seen at the show. It was agreed that there was a surfeit of jelly rolls, both used in quilts and for sale and this sparked them off on an adventure which became an annual event.  The group has a different group name for each quilt allowing for anonymity when submitting quilts for exhibition.
