Cestrian Quilters
Following the Patchwork Exhibition “Ancient and Modern” held at Chester Cathedral in 1986, Valerie Neve offered classes for an enthusiastic group of novices. These introductory classes formed the basis on which the Cestrian Quilters was founded.
As is often the case, patchwork and quilting became the glue which cemented these ‘girls’ together. The bond of friendship over the years has seen us grow from young mothers with small children to the pleasures of being grandparents, with all the intervening ups and downs of life on the way!
The items seen at our exhibition in Llangollen were examples of the varied challenges we have undertaken over the years and hope that you will browse, enjoy and perhaps even feel inspired!
