2009 Exhibition

In Response

Anglia Textile Works ( UK ) and Fiber Transformed ( USA)

The work in this exhibition is a contemporary response to the ancient fabric of Ely Cathedral using textiles and mixed media but predominantly in the form of art quilts. It is the result of collaboration between two groups of affiliated textile artists:

Anglia Textile Works from East Anglia , UK  and Fiber Transformed from Virginia , USA . It was first shown in The Lady Chapel of Ely Cathedral in March 2008

Both groups exist so that their members may share techniques and ideas, offer each other artistic support and critique, pursue new creative directions and strive to achieve professional recognition through the mounting of exhibitions.
