Welcome to this exhibition of exciting new quilts from
Contemporary Quilt.
Members were challenged to create new work inspired by the theme 'Breakthrough'.  The response has been remarkable for the wide variety of interpretations, techniques and styles. 

Contemporary Quilt is open to all members of the Quilters' Guild of the British Isles.  It is for those interested in stretching themselves and moving forward in making art through the medium of the quilt and also for those who want to be involved and offer support to the group.

We are a varied group who, for all our different skills and interests and levels of ability, like to maintain a relaxed and friendly atmosphere whenever we are together, encouraging one another to achieve our own individual potentials. There are many levels of ambition and success from the very high profile quilt makers to those of us still finding our feet.
